I know those high dollar ones do, but I cannot say if there are others with the same functionality. It may not cost that much to have a dealer train them.
I just left the local Ford dealer and they too could not get the sensors to pair to the car. The sensors all respond to the hand scanner but the car refuses to see them. I got the ones that were recommended to me on here. Is it possible they are not compatible and I actually need the original band style that came on the car?
I did figure out how to get the car into pairing mode everytime so that isn't the issue any longer. Any ideas? Worst case, is there a way to disable the tire system so the error stops popping up on me?

I don't know on the sensor standpoint. You know the factory parts work.
Yes you could disable the TPMS system by modifying as-built most likely, but how you go about that is unknown to me.

I went through all of this many years ago on my 2010 when I purchased my TSW Nurburgring's.
I sold my factory set of rims to a fellow local SHO owner, and included the banded style TPMS sensors with them at the time of sale. I regretted that in hindsight.
Upon installing my TSW's, no other sensor was able to be programmed/paired with the car, other than the OEM banded style sensors.
NONE!
Didn't matter if they were aftermarket, or even Ford valve stem style sensors and several attempts made both at the Ford dealership that I purchased the SHO from, as well as several area tire shops.
Literally the only damn one's that worked were the OEM banded style.
Wouldn't surprise me if the OP had to go through the same end result as I had to, in order to find resolution.

if somebody finds a way to disable the warning i'd love to know as replaced originals & the tire/wheel place in CA wanted as i can remember about $75/wheel to buy some that would mate. who knows if they knew what they were talking about per mike above but thought & have put up with warning for years. don't mind the initial warning but the ones while you are driving is a pita!!!
I sell the scan tools and have 3 different brands in the trunk of my car.... tomorrow morning I will go out and check to see what MHz the 2010 Taurus sho is. I believe that they run a 433mhz and that could possible be a different sensor that what you bought. I’m assuming (yes assumptions I know) that you purchased 315mhz sensors as 95% of vehicles on the road use that MHz. I will check in the morning as I’m laying in bed. I’m sorry
The ones I bought were listed above and were genuine Ford 315Mhz ones.

At this point I'm debating on having the original ones put on the new rims or just get new banded ones. I know the original ones work, but I'm just not sure if it is wise to put 8yo sensors back in just to have the batteries die. Can you get new bands for the old sensors or do you just have to get the whole setup? Thanks for the help.

The bands are available for purchase separately.
I finally got the original band sensors put back on the new rims, and viola it all works nicely again. When I went to look at my old rims, I found that someone had already replaced them and the bands too. I assume this because aftermarket bands were present on all 4 rims. Now if Belle tire weren't full of morons, I would have been done right then. However, I had to go right back after they finished because my car was shaking badly. Apparently they didn't think they needed to re-balance my tires after installing the sensors! I'm staying away from there, had too many problems with them over the past few visits. But at least the tire sensor errors are now gone.
Yes. Opened an Amazon return and sending them out tomorrow.
