it says " GEN2" on the label and it is a ford piece - about a 3X2" block with the harness connected on rh side - car has the " button" with rubber boot on rad support by air box - don't really want to disconnect the harness - suppose i could remove battery cable first - never attempted to push my key fob - other than door locks -Any pics of what you're looking at by chance?
Also, what do you mean by "GEN2"?

driver's - panel pops out above hood release and OBD plug is - thought the fuse box is on left side in that opening but that's where i see the flat face of the Remote Starting System moduleAre you on the driver's side or passenger?

removing the wide piece should expose it shouldn't it? i don't see it - bare metal brace and that remote starter module -Fuse panel is on the driver's side kick panel up under the dash.
You don't remove anything to access it. It is where I explained. It's a pain in the rear to get to.removing the wide piece should expose it shouldn't it? i don't see it - bare metal brace and that remote starter module -
alright - had my mindset around a typical fuse box exposing all the little blade fuses -This is what the cover looks like. Obviously, I never replaced it.

Let me say this take off that metal knee guard to get to it. It's a bitch to get to.alright - had my mindset around a typical fuse box exposing all the little blade fuses -
Unplug the connector to the shade.hey ! found it - removed the cover - yanked # 41 blue 15A stopped the shade but power windows inop - need those windows - read guys were saying #41 - put fuse back - windows ok but shade a thunkin' away -
I'll refer to my 2010 owner's manual - on mine # 41 is adjacent to the tall metal one-30 A #47- pass and rear windows --- driver's is #1 30Awhite tweezers in lid got it out
Good on you! I assume mine works but, I never use it. Kind of like my moonroof. Or my auto-park.I have practically a brand new shade for the 2010 model year, unused and collecting dust in my basement storage area.
I'll never ever use it myself due to the massive custom audio setup I have in mine. Not even sure why the heII I saved it TBH.
It would be a direct fit replacement.
I have no idea what it runs, but make an offer, and it's yours. Not sure what shipping would be, but it would be coming from 60451-3697.

thanks for the offer - I'll see if i can just disable it back at the shade drive - my old relic mustangs simpler to work on !I have practically a brand new shade for the 2010 model year, unused and collecting dust in my basement storage area.
