thank you. as for my first question...? do u think like a 30-50 shot would suffice? ive asked before n j been linked to a nitrous sticky that didnt really answer my questionshopartsnw
Shosource is rarely on this forum so it would be easier to contact them on their website. Chad mentioned they are on the Facebook groups.
someone else would need to reply as I haven't dealt with nitrousthank you. as for my first question...? do u think like a 30-50 shot would suffice? ive asked before n j been linked to a nitrous sticky that didnt really answer my question
i have an atx, is 200 whp too much to ask of it?someone else would need to reply as I haven't dealt with nitrous
Do you have an ATX or MTX? ATX tranny's are not that strong, I've been through two rebuilds already on one of my cars (and its stock)
well i dont think the car was maintained well... theres almost a cars worth of extra oil, ignition system is shot, and the throttle cable is on its last legs, the guy i got it from clearly didnt know the gem he had... once i get a new DIS module ill take it to a dyno to figure out what i need to do from there i guessIf the car is maintained and in good running condition then you should be in the 180-190s in stock form. I've seen bone stock SHOs Dyno over 200 at the wheels. It's just a matter of how healthy the engine is. I don't know much about Nitrous so I can't answer your question but I do know that an ATX isn't the car that I would run nitrous on. Too weak of a trans in my opinion.
If you are in the Facebook groups, look for Mike Stimson. He's the owner of SHOSource.

That spam post is now gone, JamieWelcha?Funny spam post above this one, but this got me wondering... do you think @quagmires_sho blew up the transmission with nitrous yet?
Yup. Had a link embedded in the post, which was just a copy of yours. That spam post is now gone, JamieWelcha?
100% agreed.I think this was the person with a car that didn't run right, asking about mods, without being able to repair what he had. Best guess in the dark is abandoned project. Which often isn't a terrible idea from a cost/benefit analysis.
