2 or 4 ohms?

Is the subwoofer in my 94' SHO a 2 or 4 ohm speaker? If I use the wrong ohm speaker what will happen? Thanks...

Are you trying to run a diff sub off of the factory amp?

I believe its 2ohm.. also it should be marked on the amp somewhere. (I thinK)

8.... stock sub is an 8 ohm... use a 4 itll be pretty quiet, use a 2 and you won't hear it. Find a small speaker level amp and you'll be a lot happier with an aftermarket 6.5 or 8" sub.

that sub with a small 150 watt amp will fulfill you if you insist on sticking with the stock setup, which IMHO is not exactly ideal. might wanna see what sort of air space that sub needs and whether or not the stock enclosure has enough...
