I am selling my 94 Taurus SHO 3.2 Auto. It is red with grey half cloth and half leather interior. The body has some cosmetic damage on the front bumper cover (I will include a front bumper cover that has been sanded and primed just needs to be painted and installed) and a few dings here and there, nothing major and ABSOLUTLY NO RUST. I love this car and I drive it everyday but I already have another 95 SHO that I have had for 7 years and I have no use for this anymore. It has 131k and it runs and drives perfectly. I have owned this car for about a year, I am a mechanic and I went through this car pretty good and have done alot of work to it. I will try to list everything but I may miss a few things and I have receipts for everything that was done. New A/C compressor (Ice cold A/C), has the upgraded hardbutton EATC, new radiator and complete coolant flush, just flushed the PS fluid with Mercon V, new red slicone intake hoses, new intake gaskets, new IAC, new front Brembo rotors with Ford superduty pads, one front caliper is new, new valve cover gaskets, plug well seals, platinum spark plugs, A/C Delco wires, new cam sensor, new VSS, new upper and lower speedo cable, new alternator with underdrive alternator pulley, new KYB front struts with Eibach springs (car will come with rear Eibachs, not installed yet), new front strut mounts and bearing plates, new passenger side front wheel bearing, new inner and outer tie rod ends (both sides). I replaced the airfilter last year when I bought it as well as the fuel filter, both have roughly 10k on them. I have used nothing but Mobil 1 oil and oil fliter in it since I have owned it. The only issue with the car is it has a harsh 1-2 shift and it only does it once and a while. I just recently changed the transmission filter and gasket and did a complete transmission flush with Mercon V. Just last week I replaced the subframe bushings with Gen 3 bushings on all corners, new front and rear swaybar bushings and front and rear stabilizer links (both sides). Also just had a four wheel alignment last week and new front strut rod bushings with the strut rod cups welded. Just a few days ago I replaced both rear rotors, pads, both rear calipers and brake hoses.

Interior is in ok condition, no major rips at all and it has a Sony AM/FM/CD player. Call 781 408 1560 with any questions, I will post pics tomorrow. Might be interested in a trade of some sort, let me know what you have. Also, I have no problem delivering this car, I will even go as far as 4 or 5 hours from Mass. I would drive this car anywhere, my girlfriend drove it to Florida twice and I drove it to PA, NY and NJ a few times. It is for sale locally but I would prefer it go to a forum member.

Just want to add that it will also come with four new tires (Bridgestone Insignia) on slicers that were sandblasted and painted dark charcoal, 2 wheels have been painted already the other two were sandblasted only, if I have time I will do the other two as well. They are not on the car now but I will take pics tomorrow.

Bump for a sweet running red ATX. I was hoping to get a few things done to it but maybe this week. It really only needs rear brakes which I will do before it sells.

Rear brakes will be done tomorrow or the next day and I will most likely detail the whole car this weekend. I still want $2000 but I may take best offer, it depends on my mood and if I want to buy something for my other SHO at the time the offer is made.

Still available, just replaced the upper idler pulley and alternator. The alternator was new but wasn't charging as good as I thought it should so I swapped it under warranty with a Remi.

Thanks guys I know it may be priced a little high for an ATX but I just have so many new parts in the thing and I am already taking a huge loss at $2000. I am in no rush to sell it and I don't need the money and I really liked the car but I have absolutely no use for it. I hate to see it just sitting in my garage so I hope it goes to someone who will take good car of it.

So I decided that I am going to replace the transmission in the car, I put it back on the road last week and I don't like the hard 1-2 shift so I picked up a transmission off a local forum member and I will be installing it in the next week or so after I finish a motor job. The transmission that is going in the car has about 165k and it came from a 95 but it might of been a 94, I just know that it came from one of those years. Once installed it will get a complete transmission flush with Merc V.

The price may go up $100, not sure yet on that but if anyone is intersted in the car now before I install the transmission (I will include the transmission with the sale, it will be in the trunk lol) I may let it go cheaper than the asking price just pm me your offer. I want to buy another car but I have so many I need to let one or two go.

I also may replace the front bumper cover within the next few weeks but again the price may go up a tiny bit.

I had that same harsh shift in my car, at first it was the trans. Did a trans swap and it still shifted hard sometimes 1-2 shift thats it. Changed the speed sensor an it went away but came back. I bought the sensor from advance an it already took a crap so ill throw the ford one i have. Just figured its worth the try. Idk what it is, cant sell my car either, ive had offers of $900 which makes me wanna just junk it, no rust an its only worth $900? Good luck with the sale, looks like a nice car!

I really think mine is a transmission issue, I already tried a new VSS (twice) with the same result. I am only asking so muchon my car becasue it has so many new parts and it's rust free.
