My 93 sho is suddenly starting hard or not at all. There is plenty of gas in it. I do not drive it much but I do try to start it often. Could the gas be old. Also can you bypass the fuel-pump shut off switch. Could I use starting fluild to try to help it to start. I have had the car for over 3 years and it has always started great. Thanks for any help or Ideas.

Needs 3 things to run: spark, fuel, and compression. We'll rule out compression because the car ran fine before. When it's not starting, does it have spark? What's the pressure at the fuel rail? Is the computer storing any codes? Check engine light on?

Incidents like this could be any of a number of things, starting at the basics helps determine what's wrong.
