1993 3.2 SHO starting problem

I bought this car today. The person I bought it from says it will crank right up if you let it sit. If crunk right up for me. But after it's running. If it stalls, if won't crank back up. I drove it home and I noticed when I give it a lot of throttle it dies out. Then I let up a little and it runs. The person said possibly a crank or cam sensor
