16 SHO was running rough after staring then completely stalled out and wouldn’t start back up. It was turning over no problem but wouldn’t start up again. Had it towed and since they had it, they started it w no issues and wouldn’t reproduce the same thing I experienced. Any ideas out there??

Fuel pump module in the trunk. Cheap and easy to replace.

I’ve been wondering yet. Is there a way to verify it is? I haven’t hooked it up to ForScan yet but I assumed maybe the shop tried to run diagnostics on it.

The module is about $30 and takes 5 minutes to replace. They are a known problem. Just change it and see what happens.

Ok man, I just talked to the shop and they said it threw some codes for the module. $400 for them to fix so I told them I’d do it myself. Is there any YouTubes out there for that repair?

There is also a so called HD version out by Dorman. Which I installed after reading this list.
Is it any better than the Ford part? I don't know but I changed it just because as they are a known problem.

Rock Auto carries the Dorman version.

You can get it on Amazon for less if you have Prime. Plus you can send it back for free if you have any issues.

Definitely buying this. I changed this FPCM so many times I carry a spare in the car with me now so that I won’t get stranded when it decides to go out. This and a 3 Bar MAP sensor.

I took my stock one and put it in the trunk. I replaced mine pre-emptively. It was just around the manufactured date so bought Ford replacement. Not worth saving a few bucks.
