Yes .. one will fit, but I havn't had time yet to try it out. Also thinking whether or not the stock amp will hold up to it. Its gonna be my next winter project.

I have a 10in bazooka hook up to my factory amp and it works very well. But i do plan on upgrading the amp and rear speakers.

I took the stock box out and cut a larger hole in it to fit a 10" (I forgot how big the stock one was, something like 5"). I also installed a new amp using the old wire harness for power, signal etc... The only problem I've found is that by cutting the openning larger there is now a gap between my box and the rear deck. I used pipe insulation to seal that up. Sounds good and not like a thumper car that's all bass.

My idea for installing a sub would be to trash that cardboard cover behind the seats (I don't have a stock sub), then build a nice covered wood one which has handles to pull it down. Then have the sub(s) and amp mounted on it.

So, a 10" will fit for sure? How much does the box weigh? I want to put a 10" in stock location, take the cardboard out and put a carpeted board w/ an amp or two with conceled wires.

The 10" (if the profile is low enough) will fit in the plastic box hanging from the rear deck. I just secured my new amp to the metal frame behind the seats, took out the cardboard altogether.

the 10" will fit but the plastic material isnt designed for that big a woofer. It wont wont well with anything bigger than the factory amp.

IMO an 8" would be a better fit and would perform better

a 10" will fit Barely. but will not have enough cubic feet of air space to even produce bass. it will just move and not emmit much sound. i have a factory sub box with an 8" dvc sub300w that was run off of the factory amp and it sounded great. of course it is now sitting in my closet waiting for a new home. this would be a better option. just bore the hole bigger and get a rockford fosgate 8" 4ohm sub. perfect combo.

squint "What are you looking at?" squint
