trunk latch fail

Trunk opens by itself!
So, the trunk just opens by itself! When I close it without the fob being interfered with it keeps clicking itself open. I had to reach behind inner trunk seal and disconnect the latch mechanism. Anyone have that issue before? I think I need to replace the latch mechanism but wanted to hear...- rey440cj
