    well, i just got the car started. i cranked it over for about a minute and it finally started up.. it wont stay idling though.. and it definatley has a good sized water leak by the thermostat housing somewhere... what do ya think it is?

    strut rod sounds like the right name.. but it does stand vertical connecting from the strut at the bottom of the coil, to somewhere i cant see right now without taking the wheel off.

    no its not the sway bar or the tie rod. its about a foot long and it sits vertically with one bolt connected to the strut and the other end connected to the a frame i think.

    what is the name of the bar that connects to the front strut. the bushings wore out on mine and they make a rattling noise when i drive down the street...
