what size / brand capacitor?
sho92 - i work in a stereo shop and every time we use a capacitor, it makes a difference. have you personally ever used one and not seen a difference? venom SHO - for the most part, a cap is a cap, so don't worry about brand. as far as size goes, i wouldn't get smaller than a 1.5 farad for...- mike93lx

New JBL sub, old JBL amp??
jelloslug - are you 100% sure the factory sub is 6 ohm? i am asking as i am using a factory SHO sub amp for another project. 94 sho off - i would recommend a jl audio 8W0-8. its an 8 ohm sub, but if i'm not mistaken, the factory amp is rated at about 80ish watts @ 6 ohms (so probably 60ish...- mike93lx
