    The RPM gauge does go up to about 200 - 300 RPM when cranking, but it just holds the rpm, it is quite smooth. From what I have noticed in all of my other cars, it will go up and down when there is an explosion in the cylinder, but here I am assuming I don't have any explosions. cry

    I was surfing around autozone looking for the entire caliper assembly, and much to my surprise they also sell the '96 caliper brakets for the front. I can do a '96 brake conversion for about $150 with tax. I ordered all of the "cheap" parts to test them out, I will post back when they arrive...

    I parked my SHO after the battery light popped on intermittantly and under heavy acceleration, it was running when it was parked. The culprit (I think) was the water pump, which the pully can be turned by hand. I am wondering if the CPS sensor went out mysteriously over the last two weeks...
