See my reply. This does sound like torque converter. If you don't feel it anytime except harder accelerations, it's likely. It's also possible to avoid the issue for a considerable amount of time by not accelerating hard. But eventually, it'll be a replacement need.- CraxyMitch

Torque converter?
I think you'll notice a sudden total loss of power and very high revs in 1st or 2nd gear on a very hard pull. May hear a clunk.- CraxyMitch

To be fair, you could be completely happy just jumping in it stock and going. It will do everything you want it to, until you want to go to the track or beat every mustang on the road -which is entirely feasible.- CraxyMitch
