Should I buy this car?
Alright, thanks for the feedback everyone! So I made the guy an ofFer of 350 today, and he says he's keeping it because it now holds water as it just needed some hose. Oh well. I'm still looking to find one of these cars in better condition.- Fordguy3745

I appreciate the responses guys! Basically I believe the price comes from new tires and wheels. I agree, I definitely need to figure out the cam situation. The transmission felt okay when I drove it. I need tires on my daily 96, and I figure if all else fails I got a new set of wheels and tires...- Fordguy3745

For now it would be a side project. I have another Taurus that I drive every day. My initial thought was to pass, the only reason I'm even thinking about it is because these gen 3s are getting hard to find. Hi guys, I'm totally new here. I have the chance to buy a 98 SHO for $600. The car for that price obviously has issues. I have test driven it.
