Why do you not want a real tune? A real tune is worth the improved shifting alone and the extra power is a bonus. When you get a tune, you can let your tuner know how aggressive you want to be if you’re worried about longevity.
If you 100% insist on no tune, then consider something like the...
Little to no gain in cat-backs as far as power, but you’ll make more noise. I’d rather invest into downpipes and just swap black tips onto the factory mufflers.
This is where Mike got his brakes: https://www.tceperformanceproducts.com/flex-/-sho/kits-23/
There is also @aaron240 who sells adapters and you can buy the calipers yourself (front only): https://www.schwartzep.com/big-brake-adapter-brackets
@Joe_Cool: Can't answer that question, but running to the fuse box under the dash was stupid easy and you don't have to cut anything and you cannot even tell a wire was ran.
You don't have to send you ECU out to be tuned as you'll buy a handheld and do it all yourself. You have plenty of options of tuners to choose from: GearHead, Ortiz, AJPTurbo, Livernois, Unleashed, 5 Star, etc are the few that come to mind.
This is the channel you're talking about and it's pretty nutty how fast the Plaid is: https://www.youtube.com/c/TeslaPlaidChannel/videos Dragtimes channel is pretty legit too if anyone cares to see that.
I for one look forward to the upcoming electric rides that are about to hit the market and...
I have a Garmin Dash Cam 55 (they have newer ones out now) with the parking mode cable. Ran it exactly as @SeanDSHO said above and it's been flawless. I positioned mine behind the review mirror so that I do not see it while driving.

Yup, they don't make them anymore. However, I have had an urge to buy one for the longest time and I have no idea why. Nothing remotely cool about them other than being efficient, but I just have a desire to own one just because! lol
Personally, I don't care if the MPG readout is off a little and honestly, I expect it to be. Typically, it's off by .5 mpg and as high as 1 mpg (rare). I track my MPG via Fuelly and have done so the last 5.5 years since buying my car. I know my driving habit well enough that if the MPG...
If you are recently tuned by them, I am surprised you are on the V11 tune since there was shifting issues with it. They have a later version that you can request for free that "should" resolve the shifting issues.
If you want "sport" mode on your 2012, you'll need to get a tune. I run an LMS 93+X tune on my 2012 MKS and it has what they call "hill descent" mode which is exactly what you described. Drop it it M, shifts on it's own, holds gears higher and locks out 6th gear. Hit the paddles and you're...
