Vacuum leak?
Sorry it seems so late to re-kindle this, but I am having the same issue, and it is an accel and decel whistle. It will start at 1000 RPM approx. and go through 2K-2500 with a little whistle under light throttle, but if I go into it a bit harder, you won't hear anything. I haven't really tried...- Steve-O
