    Stock Drivetrain Limits

Sure they do, how else would your turn signal fluid be refilled? And who checks your short throw dipstick, the oil fairy?

    Stock Drivetrain Limits

I call shenanigans. How is this the first most of us are hearing about this? Many of us research things like this to the point of exhaustion and I've not heard this before. I doubt they really pull different INTERNAL parts when putting together the PP motor.. Externally they put the extra oil...

HELP - No braking power in emergency situations

No clunk noise, it was just hard pedal if you panic stop and soft pedal if you slowly stop. Even still when I stomp on it the pedal has to sink VERY SLOWLY about an inch before grabbing really hard. There's no doubt in my mind that the booster isnt strong enough. I'm considering swapping in the...

HELP - No braking power in emergency situations

Yes, I have (sort of) figured it out. Both rear calipers were frozen and providing no braking power. I scarily drove that car for over a year with only front brakes, unbeknownst to me... I now have 2 new calipers in the rear and purchased EBC RedStuff pads all the way around as well as...

    Front seat upholstery unfastened

My 2010 has the same issue. No matter how many times I re-fasten it, it still keeps popping off. I suppose you could glue it but then you'd never be able to take the seat apart if you needed to. I just live with it and re-clip it for car shows

    Top speed

"1.61mph" is my record with a 5-10mph headwind coming from the front left on a 2% downhill grade.

    Rotors and brakes

I would recommend StopTech Sport Slotted. Drilled will crack under high heat. Definitely EBC pads. Red or yellow. I will never buy pads from another company because of how well EBC took care of my and how amazing their customer service is.

    Top speed

I use the GPS speed on Torque Pro as it seems to be more accurate. Just hit a new top speed this weekend actually ;)

    shudder/hesitation

Ask the dealer if they found anything wrong with the valve body in the trans. Thats what made my transmission self destruct. Almost $10k in damage covered under warranty.

Loaded new tune Car slams forward in PARK

I had a similar earthquake crazy shaking when my first transmission shelled itself out. Completely tore the trans valve body apart. I think it was an anomaly. The 6F55 is pretty robust.

    Aftermarket BOV

Just a note with blow off valves: the closer to the compressor side of the turbo, the better. I would not suggest putting it in front of the throttle body like many people like.

    RTU ptu not serviceable

I live in South Eastern PA and I found an amazing dealer who will service it. Ford says it is "unserviceable" because they tested the fluid and it lasts more than 100k so they assume everyone is so lucky. You want to change every 30-40k if you drive it hard. Let me know if you want my contact...

Why is Unleashed tune less expensive than LME?

Is there a modifications list for the car that did this? Both before and after? Hell, I'd love to be at 392awhp! :) I love my LME tune and I think another dose of horsepower is in my future!

    Downpipes finally installed

I want to get the catted pipes really badly but have a hard time justifying the ~$800 for +/- 17hp

    2011 Taurus SHO questions

I would ask him if he disconnected the blow off valve tubes. The noise you are describing is very similar. Chances are, if he did disconnect them, he was driving the car pretty hard. The only reason I say that is because he disconnected them to get the tuner "whoosh" noise of the blow off...

Is that catted or non catted?

2014 Taurus SHO - Stunning Dyno Results Baseline + K&N

10k is too often. I would say check them every 10k and if they look ok then keep running them. I am on track to put 20k on my car this year and I wont be replacing my plugs that often.
