Thank you all for the help. I got the SHO running again today after replacing the crank and cam position sensors at the same time. The drop box full of documents is very helpful. I already bought a valve cover gasket set that still needs to be installed. May do some of the other 60k...- jusatad

That's awesome, thank you. I have a shop manual and finally found where it talks about the crank sensor. You provided this doc just in time. I was just trying to figure out how to get the crank pulley bolt out. If all goes well, I may be ordering a crank sensor before this day is done.- jusatad

I can find the cam sensor and see a wire going down towards the crank, but I cannot see the crank sensor from above or through the passenger side wheel well. Do I need to remove the belt, idler pulley and water pump pulley to see the crank sensor?- jusatad

The one article I found on Crank sensor replacement is missing the pictures. Where is the crank sensor located? how long does it take to replace? Are there pictures somewhere? This car has 187k and this is the first time I've had any major issue. Not sure I want to invest anymore time and...- jusatad

Engine shut off at highway speed, won't fire
Need help troubleshooting my 1989 SHO. It shut down while going 60 mph and would not start again. Turns over fine, won't fire. Pulled the plug wires and found plug wells so full of oil it was over the top of the plugs. Don't know if this caused the shut down or not. I've cleanup out the...- jusatad
