5.5 qts and a filter...
6+ quarts!?! 5.5 quarts didn't do it, 6 quarts didn't either! Almost 6.5 quarts to get in the middle of the safe zone on my 2010! This was with a K&N oil filter and running Royal Purple 5w-20. Owners manual says 5.5 qts for regular Taurus and SHO alike. I don't think the turbos and oil feeds...- Smoke
