    strut compatibility

I want to sell some struts I bought for my 95 mtx sho a year ago and never used. I'm planning to put them up on ebay, but was wondering what other sho's they would fix on? Would they fit all gen 1 and gen 2 mtx's and atx's??? Would they fit Gen 3? THanks -Michael

So I got the struts I ordered yesterday for my 95 mtx sho, and I want to put them on today. But before I do, I was wondering if anyone can quickly guide me through the essensials on changing sho struts (just a quick walkthrough would be perfect)? Also, it would great if you could tell me if...

    Monroe Struts

Anyone know if Monroe struts for the SHO are any good. I am looking at buying a pair and was told the same type of struts were used at the Bondurant School for High Performance Driving on a SHO (the pair I'm buying is new). So it seems like they come with good recommendations. Just wondering...

    Speaking of temp. guages...

How hard is it to change the thermostat? I already have the part and I've been wondering whether or not to do this myself or just pay someone else.

    Ticking Me OFF

Maybe you have a short in a major wire that runs past the engine. It would short while accelerating (or letting off the gas) in a low gear because the engine moves it when it rotates under torque. At least this happened to me. Might be something to check out if you can't find anything else...

I got mine on today thanks to vice grips. It was easy after I got the stripped screw off. A five minute process at the most.

    Hesitation on take off

Well, I just ordered a new TPS and should get it tomorrow (Monday). Hope to put it in when I get it, but I'll have to figure out what to do since I've never replaced the TPS before. Anyone have a brief synopsis for me? Thanks, and I'll let you know if it helps.

    thermostat and TPS

So I am going to go buy a new Thermostat and Throttle Position Sensor for my 95 mtx which I plan on replacing myself. I was just wondering if there is anything else I need to order for this? Thanks. Hopefully someone can respond quickly, cause I'm trying to leave in an hour to an hour and a...

    Hesitation on take off

I have this same problem in my 95 mtx. I call it a laggy throttle and it only happens when the engine is cold. Really annoying though. I'd like to get it fixed.

    Aha! Found some missing horsepower!

How do you tighten the throttle cable?
