    Jedhead is right. Aluminum isn't like steel. Once you get a layer of oxidation on an aluminum surface (aluminum oxide) the deterioration stops underneath. Steel keeps rusting away once it gets started.

    Pulled the timing cover today and checked if I have timing issues. There's definitely some crank cancer in there. Not sure how bad yet but a few times while I was wrenching on it the crank turned and the timing belt didn't. Anyone know the relationship between the timing mark on the pulley...

    Same here with the Sable parts. In that pic it kind of looks like the right front tire isn't straight. Maybe it's just the angle of the pic but might want to look underneath at the suspension.
