    There are tools to hold the cams in place while the timing chains are installed, but the job can be done without them, just takes some patience, and maybe a few tries. All the marks need to be lined up perfectly as you only get one try. The procedure is outlined in detail in the shop manual...

    Not sure what you are referring to, but if you are talking about a Gen 3 SHO, it is much easier to have the existing cams welded in the car. If you remove the cams, the engine needs to be retimed. Let me know what you have.

    97 sho alt

    Jack the front passenger side of the car up and put it on jackstands, but loosen the lug nuts on the wheel first. Then remove the wheel, and take out the plastic liner. Should see the bolts holding in the alternator. Good luck.

    Hi, I want to upgrade the rear brakes on my Gen 3, 1996. I have calipers and ventilated rotors from a 1989 Gen 1, but the caliper brackets are larger (mounting holes farther apart) than the Gen 3. Does anyone have a 1989 Sho that can help me. The Ford manual calls these parts "disc brake...

    How do you change the 4 spark plugs against the fire wall on a 1996 SHO

    You have to remove the surge tank to gain access to the 4 rear coils. Kind of a complicated process. Get back to me if any questions.
