Starting is locked
Recently my car would not start in the park position. I read the owners manual and it said there is a lock, and I followed instructions to start in this situation. For a while it went back and forth, sometimes it would start in Park and sometimes not. Problem is, now it's always that way...- s'good

sho mechanics in San Diego
I feel a bit out of my league here, since I don't do the work on my car. But I am fortunate to have a 20-year old son who is a BMW enthusiast, and he does some of the stuff for me. Now I need to find a mechanic who can do some of the bigger stuff, who really knows this engine. ANy suggestions?- s'good

brake lights problem
Have just reallized all my brakelights are out. Checked the bulbs, fuses, and the brake switch. Is there a typical weakeness in the wiring on these SHO's? ( Mine is 93 ATX). Thanks- s'good

installing the thermostat
Mt 93 ATX was running high tonight. I checked the coolant, but it had not been circulating. Does this indicate a thermostat problem? Is the thermostat easy to replace? ( you can tell I haven't done much work on the engine. I've had the car a year and it has run like a dream , so I was freaked...- s'good
