Weird Ratyling/tapping/clicking nois in engne bay 4k+ rpm??

When the RPM hits 4k when the secondaries open up the engine makes a weird rattle/clicking/taping noise, its hard to explain, and it doesnt tap faster with the RPM, it just a constant fast rattle type noise..is the engine going out? This is on SHO SPD's car

Whats this ground wire on the rear of the intake??

I found that this wire on the back of the intake (suppose to be bolted onto the intake bracket) was not hooked up, so I hooked it back up, what is the purpose of this wire anyway? I found no difference hooking it up...
