    USB Port

    I didn't say before, but the mechanic also noted 13W... 5 x 2.5 rounds off to 13.

    USB Port

I talked to a mechanic I know at my dealer and he looked it up for me. Sync2 USB port, 5v and 2.5A. I called Samsung and they said that'll be fine for charging my phone. Just wanted to make sure.

    USB Port

I got a 2015, can you charge a cell phone with the USB port in the console? If so, does anyone use it to charge their phone?

    Explorer wheels

I use 225/60R18 Blizzaks for the winter. They happen to be the exact same revs/mile as the stock tire.

    Brakes

I chatted with the UK website and they said they only list the one pad for the PP and non-PP SHOs.

    Brakes

Does EBC list different pads for the PP?
  9. PonySHO

    Brakes

EBC has really cool pad/rotor kits... Stage 4 Signature Disc Brake Kit. It uses the Red Stuff ceramic pads. I always get the Red Stuff pads, very low dust and rotor friendly.

Is the pad fitment the same for PP and non-PP? Summit has red stuff pads, but doesn't call out whether it is for the PP. I think the difference in the Ford pads is the material they use for PP pads.

    GDI/IVD cleaners

I'll let you guys know what the mechanic I know at my dealer has to say.

    GDI/IVD cleaners

One of the things I want to do is pick the brain of the mechanic I know at the dealer. I'd be willing to bet he's got some experience with some high mile GDI engines. Good idea to take a thorough look into the product.

    GDI/IVD cleaners

I change my oil once a year, so that's less than 3000 miles. I just put the catch can on a couple hundred miles ago, so no sense in checking it yet. I went with the JLT can. Here's what I found on Amazon's FAQ page of the CRC cleaner: Question: Has anyone used this product on a 3.5 liter...

    GDI/IVD cleaners

I went to the CRC website and their product specifically claims to be a turbo cleaner also.

    GDI/IVD cleaners

Thanks! I doubt I have any significant build-up, there's only 9000 on the clock. I'm using Castrol Edge synthetic and do have a catch can, although just recently installed. I'm just being proactive and keeping on top of it before any significant build-up occurs.

    GDI/IVD cleaners

Hi all, I didn't find any posts on this, but has anyone had any first hand knowledge of intake valve build-up? I've seen a couple of You Tube videos about build-up on the intake valves with GDI engines. I recently saw that Castle is coming out with a product called GDI/IVD Clean. It isn't...

    SHO Noob PP Question

Good luck on your purchase, I bet your a little excited. I got the Blizzaks myself when I bought my '10... 225/60R18. They had the exact same RPM rating that the Michelin Primacys that came stock. I live in Western New York, just south of Buffalo so we do get some significant snow once in a...

    Just bought a 2011 SHO

I did a lot of research on the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires when I ordered my '15. Based on the reviews, I got BF Goodrich g-Force Comp 2s put on before I took delivery. The F1s are a great tire if you live in AZ or NM where it is hot and dry most of the time. When it's cool and wet...

    SHO Noob PP Question

BHSHO, nice video on the PP. The only problem I had with the PP was the tires that it came with, Goodyear Eagle F1s. The reviews on them were terrible, really trashed them. They're a great tire if you live in the SW where it's always dry and hot. Ford even puts a disclaimer not to drive with...

    Reverse Light LED Replacement Revisited

Thanks SHOdded! The ones from VLED appear to be what I'm looking for. Very good reviews on them also. I got those bookmarked, but I'm going to give the Philips ones a chance and see how I like them. I just tried them once so far sitting in my driveway and haven't actually backed up with them...
