    Can anyone tell me or show me a picture of the fill plug for transmission fluid on a 91 mtx? I was under the vehicle and noticed dripping from the transmission. I see the drain plug and above that is where I think the fill plug should be but looks like maybe the previous owner lost or stripped...

    Here they tell you to leave the vehicle running after guiding you into the drive through garage. They even advise you to go for a good long drive before the test to make sure the cats are good and hot.

    In New Mexico, they won't even test the emissions if the check engine light is on. It's basically like an automatic fail. On OBD-II vehicles they connect a code reader even if the light is not on to make sure the codes weren't just erased for the test.

    I don't suppose anyone can tell me how to disconnect the bulb that illuminates the check engine light? Of course I would re-connect it after the emissions test and properly diagnose the problem. I just can't afford to pay anymore penalties for not registering the car within 30 days of purchase...
