    A Rose Mist in Canada? There couldn't have been many. I was a passenger in one that met it's demise in a ditch. I wonder if it's the same one? Insurance Co wrote it off but it disappeared before the owner could buy it.

    Many years ago there was some talk of using Contour pistons in the V8 cars. I think the thought was to use the slightly larger bore for a slight power boost. I imagine the Contour pistons were similarly designed and constructed so similar reliability would also be expected.

    Years ago, my car would sometimes stall when coming to a stop. Never did figure out why but shortly afterwards I'd have a coil that would start misfiring. Might want to replace your cam and crank sensors. They used to be relatively cheap and easy to replace. I haven't owned a SHO in over 4...

    Depends on the bribe for the tech inspectors. In previous years I've used bacon and Canadian Tire money. I won all kinds of Car SHOw awards that I didn't deserve thanks to them. In this case I suggest beer or $100 bills. I'll accept either.

    I haven't seen any real numbers. I just see cars that don't see here, on Facebook and on e-bay. There's just no market for them and the SHO guys are cheap. There's people crushing SHOs because nobody is willing to pay a fair price for them.

    In perfect condition these things don't sell for that kind of money. $2k might be reasonable but expect to sell for $1000-1500. There just isn't any market for these cars and they attract really cheap m0ther f0ckers.
