Cat Codes and Tough O2 Sensor

Weird, I've seen a lot of ecoboost forums online argue about this and say the opposite, I've heard the rears are expected to last much longer. There's 4 total right, 2 per exhaust? Would both of my rears have to go out to get an 0420 and 0430 simultaneously?

Cat Codes and Tough O2 Sensor

Recently, I reduced my E content I was using on my GH AO 93 tune to cover for bad winter gas, down to 15-19, and I received a CEL for 0420 and 0430, cat efficiency below threshold. Seeing as it was both banks simultaneously, and right when it's warming up and lowering ethanol levels, and I'm at...

What is the name of this pipe?

Does injector cleaner count as addressed :( What mileage would you guesstimate you tend to see this problems? Do they tend to manifest as higher LTFT numbers or high KR? Also very unrelated but how do you add signatures? Still haven't managed to figure it out

Can't See Climate Controls In CarPlay

Bummer. Guess Ford wants our SHOs at max output by making it harder to fiddle with the AC

Can't See Climate Controls In CarPlay

Weird question/observation, in my 2018 SHO, I noticed when in CarPlay mode, I can't see the UI circular menu pop up for when I make changes with the climate control buttons like fan speed or temperature. The only original SYNC menu I have that seems capable of showing in CarPlay is the volume...

High LTFT Both Banks Idle/Under Load

Numbers have gone to around 10% now after half a tank of fuel cleaner. Another thing I had not considered was the fact that both cold temps (it's currently 33 here) and ethanol (running about 30-35%) are two things that would increase LTFT. So maybe these numbers aren't so scary. Edit so I...

High LTFT Both Banks Idle/Under Load

I'd have to throw my 2 bar MAP back on there to check right?

High LTFT Both Banks Idle/Under Load

Module Replacement lowered numbers about 2-3% as expected. Top end still looking ugly, going to try some form of injector cleaner before moving on to replacing the rail pressure sensor.

High LTFT Both Banks Idle/Under Load

Any recommendation of fuel additives I could maybe use if it's a gunk problem? Although the car runs ethanol heavy I'd tend to think at 60k the buildup wouldn't be too bad, I've heard use seafoam, but simultaneously watched a Scotty Kilmer where he says seafoam is meant for two stroke engines...

High LTFT Both Banks Idle/Under Load

Probably the right course of action. Any idea why trims would be higher after sitting for a while? That fuel pressure sensor looks a bit tough to get to, so I'm hoping it's that. I also will probably swap the pump module behind the passenger seat, as that's easy enough.

High LTFT Both Banks Idle/Under Load

I would be inclined to ignore it or chalk it up to winter conditions, but the misfire really concerns me.

High LTFT Both Banks Idle/Under Load

Hey everyone, Came back from a week and a half away staying with my grandpa during hospice, and had left my car in a temperature controlled garage. Started up sounding a bit colder than expected, and down the road a bit after a pull, received a blinking CEL for a short period before it...

    Knock Sensor Acting Up

This is reassuring, I do need to remind myself that MN has truly horrible gas in the winter, especially at stations at the bottom of hills that the snowmelt leaks into the underground tanks.

    Knock Sensor Acting Up

Also, a separate question: if I can't figure out what's causing the brief KR positives on e30 on the AO tune, would it be entirely unwise to move to an e30 tune like I was planning to do this summer? I'm assuming if I am unable to meet the octane demands on AO with e30 when I get around 18 psi...

    Knock Sensor Acting Up

Yikes, on e30 at a stop light launch with a filter change I momentarily hit +6.59. Time for logs... I don't think Matt from GH would be too keen on supporting someone who hadnt paid for the tune initially, but I might have to send him a message if I can't figure it out

    Knock Sensor Acting Up

E30 seemed to make the bad numbers appear less often, however I still saw 1.5 around 18 PSI I thought (I really should datalog this, since the cylinder it's happening at would be insightful). I've heard if E30 doesn't solve it it could be a scenario of false knock, though I'm not going to come...

    Knock Sensor Acting Up

What's really tripping me up is that, although it makes perfect sense to be dynamically modifying timing, I swear in the same environment a month ago the KR reading never moved from 0, which also kinda makes me fear that the sensor wasn't working until now, and should have been pulling timing...

    Knock Sensor Acting Up

Update, hit +2.25 in 6th on a long pull in 27 degree weather, something to be concerned about? Symptom of maybe a vacuum leak or weak injector? Or even something as simple as a clogged intake filter?

    Introduction

Hey all! I bought a 2018 SHO from another member of this forum, car is amazingly quick, 59k miles, gearhead AO tune on 93 + intercooler + HPFP + a few other mods, love the car but running into a few issues as of late. Last owner took amazing care of it, but Minnesota winters take no prisoners. I...

    Knock Sensor Acting Up

Hey everyone, I own a 2018 58k mile SHO with the gearhead AO tune, intercooler and HPFP, as well as a few other common mods running 93 Octane, that I actually purchased from another member of these forums. Today I was driving in very cold temps (10 degrees Fahrenheit) when I noticed that on...
