    True, it idled and ran fine, and the gauges didn't show an excessive vacuum leak. ugh. Forgive my ignorance, I'm used to pushrod V8's..All of the intake valves would have to be closed in order to put pressure in the intake and expect it to hold though, I don't know much about the valvetrain...

    Compression test was good, nothing low and the UPR catch can was normal. Side note: I drained the intercooler last night, about a teaspoon of oil came out.

    No sir. I'm just gonna order the hot pipes from EcoPowerParts and eliminate the plastic, even though I pressure tested it and it held 20psi before blowing the cap off I had on the other end. I just don't know.

    Yesr, All aftermarket, bought with X-pipe with magnaflow mufflers. I removed the cats from the downpipes and the magnaflow mufflers a while back. There are two resonators still on each side (cylinder shaped). Could they be clogged, I don't know, but I'll take the entire exhaust off this...

    There won't be, but I wanted to see how freely they spun as well, in which the rear turbo spun faster and smoother than the front. Well, they are out and will be going back to Canada this week. Fingers crossed they find something wrong with them.

    Well, I expected some degree of restriction since the shaft isn't being oiled, but the leaf blower test had less than half of the pressure of air coming out of the turbo while spinning. I would assume this thing would have spun up and put some good air out. IDK.

    Cr Performance has been very responsive in trying to help with this issue but this is their response. They have no way to bench test them right now.

    Yes sir, the previous compressor wheel was in my hand and then my trash can. (Shaft broke) The other turbo compressor wheel was damaged from hitting the compressor housing. These appeared brand new.

    front turbo shaft broke in half, impeller was sitting in the hose upon disassembly. Rear turbo impeller was rubbing housing and shaft was very loose.

    They spin freely, aren't rubbing, only have about .005 or less of radial play. I've thought about the chance of someone new at CR performance assembling them, believe me I've thought of every possible scenario at this point. I'm going to send them back for them to inspect and test.

    That's pretty much my assumption as well at this point. The WG's are brand new and the turbo's freshly rebuilt, it's literally the only thing that changed after the original turbo's let go. I'll be sending the turbo's and WG's back to Canada (CR Performance) for testing ($80 one way shipping)...
