    Sorry, guys. It sold. Cheers.

So long and thanks for all the fish

Just FYI, CarMax paid $17k for my 2015 non-PP SHO with 79k miles. It was a very easy transaction. I see they are selling similar cars for $23k.

    F/S PowerPack for SHO

=== SOLD === $325 I am selling a Powerpack I got from GHtuning (https://www.ghtuning.com/product/2010-2018-sho-flex-explorer-sport-sct-bdx-power-pack/). This includes an SCT BDX (not married), six one-step-colder spark plugs, a 170-degree thermostat, a 3 bar MAP sensor, a BDX window mount, and...

So long and thanks for all the fish

My bad, Shaggy. I am saying goodbye and noting that my personal experience with two dealerships could have been better. The forums are great -- a fantastic free resource that I am going to contribute to as I have a BDX and stuff to sell. Sean

So long and thanks for all the fish

Hi all. I came to you from a history of turbo Subarus. I got a WRX the first year they were out. I aged out of them and thought an SHO was a good solution. Large, comfy, massaging heated/ventilated seats, how could I be wrong. Herb Chambers Ford of Braintree MA and Ray Seraphin Ford of Vernon...

    Rough idle at cold startup

Unsure. But, the Ford dealer just did the timing belt and phasers a week ago, so wouldn't they have advised me the car was running rough? In any event, good point. Check the plugs.

No tune. No performance parts. Bone stock.

    Rough idle at cold startup

I have a slightly rough idle at cold startup. It lasts a minute or two. I can feel it through the driver seat. I am old enough and the tach is small enough to be next to useless for this, but there is some needle bounce. It lasts a minute or so. The car is on a new timing chain and phasers as of...

    Things you don't like...

The cupholder is a pain. Won't hold two Dunks cups or even reasonably sized soda cups -- the passenger's and driver's cups interfere with each other. Another 1/4 inch of space is all that is needed. Any workarounds?

No need at all to say sorry. I appreciate the very quick response to all my questions! Thank you. :)

Fantastic reply, thank you. Do you happen to know the bolt pattern?

Wheel and tire sizes and recommendations

While I wait to get my black, '15 non-PP SHO back from the dealership, I am wondering about wheels. I have non-PPO rims that are a little scuffed and would make good winter rims. With that in mind, any recommendations for lighter-weight rims that look great on a black SHO? (I am not into...

    2015 SHO Water Pump

Six weeks for the dealer to replace the timing belt and phasers. Apparently, backorder. My kid's Accord is solid as a rock, though, and I'm saving a ton on gas.

    2015 SHO Water Pump

Thanks. :) Sounds like a common issue with our car.

    2015 SHO Water Pump

A big deal as in how much work is it? It's being done by the dealership, so no worries there. I don't wrench any more, not even plugs: the back plugs on this sideways v6 look tough to access, for example.

    2015 SHO Water Pump

So, in addition to the water pump, is replacing the timing change and cam phasers (apparently devices that help time the camshafts for vvt) a big deal?

Well, I held out for rather a long time, dontchathink? Unlocking with GH. Stay "tuned."

LPFP? HPFP? What are these? Curious.

I'd not be tuning, just loading a tune and datalogging for the tuner. Some good info here though!

    SHO Engine mods/upgrades

I think I need to know more about HP tuners. Is there a thread? No tablet here, though. That said, my 2015 isn't going anywhere, so what worked in 2015 should be fine now, I would think? Still, SCT seems hinky. Cheers.
