**** yes. Start a new build thread here with the new car. The more traffic here the better, to keep this place from being swallowed into the abyss. I agree, this has been the best car community for me as well. That is why I continue to stick around as well.

The second post was a spammer post that was removed.

    Tuning/beginning build list

Honestly don't I know if it ever was listed on Redline. Years back, SHO owners switched to RL LWSP. The end result was great. I personally ran it in my personal SHO in the PTU and RDU for over 40K miles before I sold it with zero issues. Most of the big high horsepower SHOs owners on here...

    2011 MKS EcoBoost

I always filled my SHO up with almost 6 quarts. It would read higher on the "range" of the dipstick up never full.

Hahaha good catch, the real question is....How did that post not get a single reply back in 2024?

You should go all out and get a vintage pioneer with the flip face and dolphin display.

    Tuning/beginning build list

Since you are a direct representative of GH, I will not be goad into the tuning squabble. I have always stated that I recommend both GH and AJP tunes for SHO owners. Both have their pros and cons, but I personally prefer AJP. And lets be real here, every tuner runs every other tuner's tunes...

Also, lets address your maintenance fear mongering with my "extreme maintenance intervals with modern pricing...... Directly from my thread: Future Fluid Maintenance: At 70K miles I starting following this schedule until the car left under new ownership. Oil and Trans Fluids will be changed...

    Tuning/beginning build list

I said in the thread that this is what I personally did. I did that because I was FBO (minus upgraded turbos) on a hot E30 tune, in an extreme climate. No where did I say that, "This Is The Way" for everyone. If you actually read it, you would see other numbers mixed within the thread...

I embrace touch screen aftermarket radios. It is really nice having that type of new tech in the truck.

Nice! 4.6L? Just make sure the timing chain guides aren't nuked. Going from my SHO to the Merc has been a complete handful. However, stepping back in time with the truck really makes me appreciate the simplicity of older vehicles.
