Drive you NUTS rattle!

I have a 89 mtx, between 1300 to 2000 rpms I have this rattle aftre letting out the clutch. thought it might be a heat sheild but cant find anything loose?Are there any manifold sheilds that i cant see? car works fine otherwize Thanks for any help, Randy

Dumb Easy Question???

I'm installing a rod shifter on my 89 does the bend on the gear shift go towards the dash or back seat??? :huh:

Rod shifter

Trying to remove old cables and the one that comes (like)through the fire wall is being very stubbern how the heck do ya get that thing out of there?? :huh: also the braket that holds the cables on the trans do you keep that on or get rid of it??
