Intermittent starting issues.
Just a reminder to check and clean all of your major ground points! Back of the intake / firewall by the PCM / passenger strut tower / battery negative to fender well and so many more can cause nearly undiagnosable and intermittent problems… also make sure your battery cables are in good shape...- Evan Silletto

For the record, my Gen 1 has been on 245/45r16 Toyo Proxes T2 for years now, lowered (Tokico/Eibach) with old 16” MiM wheels and twin piston PBR’s front / big brake kit rear with rolled rear fenders. I had the same condition. My dad (from whom I inherited the car) was convinced the clutch was going. I drove it this way for long enough that I became convinced it was not the clutch… In the end it was oil in the camshaft position sensor.
