Search used - What does it cost to have a clutch replaced?
if you want to put the 9.0 " clutch in your car i have a brand new one with the throw out bearing i would sell for 50.00. you would just have to get the flywheel for it to bolt onto.. that would save you alot of work taking out the one from your gen 1.- willy

mtx fluid?
they dont sell mobil 1 atf at walmart but they sell valvoline maxlife about 4.00 a quart .i just replaced my clutch and use this and it shifts like butter.- willy

Short cloud of smoke
i have been told that blue smoke usually means fuel problem not oil.but im not sure it means to lean or to rich.- willy

leaking oil from somewhere, need suggestions where to look
dont rule out your oil pan gasket.it has rubber gasket on front and rear and they can turn hard and leak lots of oil. i just fixed major oil leak by replacing those.- willy

try listening for a jump in your sparkplug wires. i had an s 10 that did that and it was a bad plug wire.- willy
