My one and only in life right now is my 15' SHO. My happy place is on trails, in the woods, or on the water and so far the car is an unbelievable road tripper, seeming to be a great choice. About three years ago I had bought myself an 11' VW GTI, 6 spd, stage 2, bolt-ons, fun-as-SHIT, little go-kart... Sadly, a sleepy trucker had other plans besides a big turbo and widebody setup on October 3rd, 2022. The claim got me some of my new toy, and I'm happy to be here in good shape! I'm looking for advice right now on anything and everything basic. From fluids I should be using, general upkeep, to things I should look out and/or prepare for in a 15', non-PP, at 115,000 miles so far. On my mind heavy right now though... is transforming my SHO into what I've seen on r/BattleCars on Reddit. My dream is to build a confined living space on a trailer, lift SLIGHTLY and off-road ready the SHO... and take it across the US and Canada. Unorthodox I feel, but the vision is building! ANY advice is highly appreciated.
