I am assuming that a 1990 SHO came with a cable shifter stock. Is this correct? Would it be better to upgrade it to a rod shifter?- Rootbeer88

-Rod shifter- Broke bracket..
I had just bought a 1990 SHO. My brother drove it for a little while and then it happened. He called me and said the car is stuck in second gear and the shifter moves but don't shift gears. It appears that I guess the cable connected to the shifter by a ball and socket design will not stay...- Rootbeer88
