    then why dose the manual say not to remove both at the same time and why dose sho project phenix say not to ever remove both at the same time?? this boggles my mind that all the matterial about this car says dont do it and yet if you do nothing happens???

    when replacing the transmission i have read in the manuals and on other sites that you cant remove both sides cv shafts so i have the pass. side out but the drivers side in i need to remove the drives side, but what do i stick in the pass. side hole. :confused:

    :confused: i have the tranny out and have not removed both of the cv shafts the passenger side one is out but the one on the drivers side that goes from the trans to the center support bearing is still in i need to remove it though but i have been told that if i remove both sides cv shaft...

    ok thank you because i was having **** tring to find them mine are fine and not mangled thanks for all your help you guys have all been a great help in tring to get my trans replaced. :hail: hope to have it back on the road in 1 week :dribble:

    when i removed the axels in the tranny it said to replace the axel c clips where can i get them and what is the part number. i cant find them anywhere..... :confused:

    dose anyone have a link to a site that tells you how to remove the trans. i am doing a tranny swap in a 90 mtx. i have searched the site and cant find anywhere to get the manual for the sho i keep finding ones for the slos any help would be appricated.

    what is the weight diff. btw. the 90 basketweaves and the 92 slicers. the baskets are 15 and the slicers ar 16 also what are the preformance increaces with putting 16s on as opposed to 15

    you go under the link bar on the left under maitnence, then to the link testing for codes it is a blue link in the text. it is very helpfull taught me lots of stuff i didnt know

    cv shafts

    when repacing the tranny i need to take the have shafts out. do i need to replace any seals o rings or anything when i put them back in the trans. if so what are they called is there a hardware kit or anything thanks for your replies

    how do i install a drain plug on the mtx 4 i will have it out in a week if it has 1 i have not looked but i see on ebay some for sale with the description saying that they have installed a drain plug??
