Either Mitchell On Demand or Alldata (don't remember which) showed 6.1 hours for a trans job. I would guess many (most?) shops would charge 12.2 hours. Maybe less as presumably one trans is not being reinstalled. On the other hand; the shop will have to dispose of the donor car?
Thank you all for the help. With some more research we (son and I) pulled the starter and the upgraded clutch w flywheel is installed.
Have also ordered the ceramic TOB. Hope that is the way to go.
Did stop at a Ford dealer and was told they can't go back more than 10 years. Oh well.
New here and with a 'new' 90 SHO; and needing to replace the clutch. Was under the impression that the upgrade was strongly advised. But if I understand your post an Ford OEM small/9.25 clutch rebuild kit is available complete for $250? If that would buy me another 40 or 50 thousand miles it may...
