Gen III cd changers.

'99 Seat Wearing

My grey seats on my black '99 seem to be showing signs of wear..in a couple spots it's worn all the way through the grey coloring. Does anyone know a way I can touch this up, or otherwise hide it? I clean and condition the seats regularly, but it didn't help in this case. Thanks, Nick

I've heard on Tauruscarclub.com that any Taurus with a factory security system could have issues with the Diablochip. There's a guy on there, Bob Riley, who programs them, and sells them at a group discount. I'm not sure if the bugs or whatever have been worked out though. Could you check with...

Hello Everyone- + My first Question!!!

Thanks for the input guys...I'll let you know what I decide or whatever. $50 isn't TOO bad for a reprogram on my chip, if I get the urge to try it out. The Duratec was (is) a good engine..just needed the oomph provided by the Superchip. Even my dad was impressed, and got one for his F-250...
