Actually the reverse, the power seems to lack at higher speeds, but I am getting the notion that this is just an attribute to the car. I was wrong, it does tackup good. The power curve on this one is more toward the low end. I am just not used to it coming from an 81 Z28 Camaro that was just...- MeSHO

I will do some more analysis on this. While in motion, when getting up to 4000 RPM's it seems to be lacking in power. It runs just fine, no problems. Been well maintained. It seems like it has a rev limiter of some sorts on it. Only 38k on the CAR. I was thinking maybe it is do to...- MeSHO

Rev or RPM limited to 4000 RPM's
I have a third gen 1999 SHO, California Emmissions. The motor will only rev to 4000 RPM. Is this normal? Does not seem normal to me, limits the performance of the car. Any IDEAS on how to resolve?- MeSHO
