Also, check your fuel pump. Sounds odd, but my car kept idling strange, and almost dieing, and it turned out to be a nearly dead fuel pump. It was putting less than half the normall pressure through the car. Just a thought. DON"T SELL YOUR SHO!!!- Mark89

I had the same problem. The car sounded like it was shutting off the ignition about twice a second and the whole thing just ******. Didn't happen all the time though. It used to even chirp the tired when I tried to accelerate in first gear. I thought I was going to tear the transmission...- Mark89
