Whatever the line was to the headlight it is not there now, I'm guessing it was just a random piece of string that fell in there somehow. The allen key bolts are not corroded, the pictures may make them look as such but I can assure you they are in great condition. There is some grime in them...- KrisA

Thanks for the comments. I can assure that no body work has been done to this car. Regarding the headlight alignment, I'm guessing that's just how things were built, 80's Fords were not exactly built to today's quality. :) The fishing line, I have no idea, I'll check it out next time I'm...- KrisA
