    Ishodu, perfect call! The gauge on the dash got up to the L as I was watching my Monitor which stayed on 209 for the longest time but as soon as the ECM said 215, low fan came on. Thanks all for the help, Joe

    My plans are to put the OTC monitor on it and see what the ECM is reading. I'll then be able to make a better guess. That and I'll be able to prove the sensor works. Thanks for the temp input (215). I'll look for that. Joe

    My thoughts this weekend were toward the fan relay. Is it a 2 pole input (one for the AC and the second for the cooling temp)?

    1 - No codes, that's clear. 2 - No paper clip test and the 2 wire (ECM) sensor 3 - it gets pretty darn high, enough to worry me (not changing that damn thing again!) I'll hook up my OTC scanner to it tonight just to see if the sensor is being read by the ECM

    Hi all. A couple of weeks ago, I changed the engine in my daughters 93 3.2. After a brief shakedown I found that the cooling fans would not start on their own (fans will run on A/C). I removed the ECM coolant sensor from the removed engine and intalled it into this one but it did not solve...
