With the changing of the bearings looming I was wondering if it made a difference were I put the block heater? It looks like on the back of the block, closest to the firewall, in the middle looks like the easiest place to mount it. I thought I'd make sure before I replaced anything.

I have a michigan car. I can't agree with that statement enough. I just broke off the nut and threads for one of the parking brake cables. Stupid rust.
