    One thing I have noticed is the solenoid moves around in the houseing a little. Might this have some affect on it not starting?

    Scott, I was thinking the barometric sensor was right were you described it to be. Theres the red cap ABS port to the left. The relay to the right of the baro sensor is the one thats clicking, it comes off the bracket when pulled down and disconnects fairly easy, and then theres a little black...

    block heater placement

    With the changing of the bearings looming I was wondering if it made a difference were I put the block heater? It looks like on the back of the block, closest to the firewall, in the middle looks like the easiest place to mount it. I thought I'd make sure before I replaced anything.

    Anyone done it? Part number for block heater assembly? I'm gonna be replaceing the pan seal (500 miles per quart) and the rod bearings very soon and thought it would be a good time to do so. Thanks for the info.

    I have a michigan car. I can't agree with that statement enough. I just broke off the nut and threads for one of the parking brake cables. Stupid rust.
