erradic idle stalling & backfire
did that already but they come right back at next restart. talked with mechanic at protech and he recomended replacing the cps to correct the problem eek!- grn92shomtx

Anyone wanna take a guess???
if it is the water pump be very careful not to disturb the back half when you replace it. there are two o-rings behind the back half that seal it to the block. if you disturb them you might destroy them. and to replace them you have to remove the timing belt.- grn92shomtx

Did not remove cps. but upon inspection found cam timing to be 180 out of phase with crank. reset timing and car runs better but still hesitates and willnot idle any longer than 1-2 minutes with out stalling but will start right backup. also picked up decoding module and got the codes from the...- grn92shomtx

erradic idle stalling & backfire
just replaced front crankshaft seal & oil pan gasket. now car does not run correctly. upon startup engine idles correctly. then after about 30-45 seconds engine starts to falter. idle jumps from 300-1100 rpm and back continuosly until stalling. also has noticeable back fire at about 22-2300 rpm...- grn92shomtx
