    By the way my 2 cents. Cobra R is faster stock but the shelby is definately quicker although having one of the only 300 cobra R's must count for something too

    I think the only solution to the Shelby vs Cobra R problem is to be like black92's neighbor and have both. Cobra R for the road course and the shelby for the street and drag strip. (If we could only afford that right!)

    Hey thanks for the advice. The fidanza is brand new so the flywheel is taken care of. I don't really want to do rod bearings since there are 74,000 miles on the car. Will do on the loctite. You guys are scaring me with this clutch cable talk though. That's all I thought was wrong at first...

    Yeah, actually I don't drive it in summer. I bought it as a winter car. I drive a black 94 cobra in the summer. Fortunately I don't think it was ever run through a winter till I bought it a little over a year ago. (NO RUST)
