Thanks for the input! I called Napa, and they also list a 571373 for the SHO. They actually have it in stock so... I'm very :) .- ellis

Water pump part number confirmation
Help! I have been planning a 60k front end job for some time. Several web sites list a cardone #571373 waterpump as the appropriate part for the 3.0 SHO. However, Rockauto said this is for the generic 3.0, not the SHO. There's a big difference in price between this one and the next cheapest...- ellis

Several years ago I ran into a guy at Mitsubishi's Ann Arbor, MI lab who had, in a previous life, worked for an exhaust manufacturer who was bidding the exhaust for the SHO. Knock on startup
For those using Fram filters, please use caution. I had a 351W rebuilt in the late `80s (.030 over, rod, mains,cam, etc.) After 6 miles the engine lost all oil pressure. Upon investigation we found that the bypass valve in the fram oil filter had been assembled backwards allowing oil to bypass...- ellis
