I needed that expert real-time guidance. A better question might be why can't Ford do the software fix? They charged me $100 to tell me that the hardware APIM needed replaced and wanted me to spend another $768 for that.- Darold A Lowe

Here is a link to an eBay listing that I purchased for $99 that allowed me to repair the software on my APIM. Files were deliveded and expert patient guidance was given via real-time email. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SELLER. Saved me over $700 that Ford quoted for repair...- Darold A Lowe

Thank you for your reply. I will try the roll back and keep my fingers crossed. I don't know why Ford refuses to repair the software and insists on replacing the hardware. I can only assume the new APIM hardware must come pre-loaded with the software. Very expensive solution to such a simple problem- Darold A Lowe
