PP wasn't a big deal to me because I really wouldn't see any added benefit. I don't track my car (road course/drag strip)... I definitely would have opted for it if I was on the track.

I own a Bullitt Mustang that I put on the track and attend some events with and the SHO is my daily driver...so I'll keep the SHO stock and enjoy it each and every day in all seasons. The Bullitt stays in the garage most of the winter.
Yes, that's the biggest reason why I didn't go with that one. I had a Ruby Red Metallic Fusion that I traded in...loved the color, but not so much on the Taurus. I like the darker colors on the SHOs, especially Dark Side Metallic. Fell in love with it the second I saw it in person.
The driver assist package really didn't interest me. I wouldn't use many of those features at all. PP would have been nice, but I do drive in the winter, and won't be putting the SHO on the track, so that wasn't a big deal for me either. (401A package was a big deal to me though) The...

Good luck and I hope you get what you're looking for at a great price. I test drove 3 SHOs and made my decision on the color and then it took a couple of days of going back and forth on the phone before we came to an agreement. There are some killer deals out there on used SHOs.
I guess I've never heard of a dealer being charged with a felony for leaving a piece of paper from a previous registration...and I don't know any specific law that states a dealer must remove a name of a previous owner left in a vehicle...whether it be in the owners manual, tucked in the seat...
